Will is a tv & film executive with a successful track record in leading strong teams of business development, production, distribution, and strategic planning professionals. Currently, Will is Vice President, Business Development & Digital at Ovation Television. Reporting to Ovation's CEO, Will leads all business development functions, including strategy, M & A, and partnerships. In December 2015, Will also added leadership of Ovation's digital team to his responsibilities.
Prior to Ovation, from 2013-2015, Will led business development, content acquisition, and affiliate relations in Los Angeles for Intel Media (acquired by Verizon in 2014).
Before joining Intel, Will was GM at Monkey Wrangler Productions. Monkey Wrangler is the home of Your Dungeon, My Dragon - the first-ever original animated show and game series greenlit across Xbox and MSN; and exclusively underwritten by Toyota Motors. Your Dungeon, My Dragon won Gold at the 2012 IAB Mixx Awards. Will produced the series and games.
From 2005-2009 Will was Vice President, Business Development for the Comcast Entertainment Group (E!, Style, and G4 television networks). Will founded and led the group's digital distribution business, overseeing partnerships with Apple, Microsoft Xbox, Sony Playstation, Amazon, Lionsgate, and InDemand. Will also led strategic planning and M & A efforts for CEG and was instrumental in growing CEG’s successful US mobile business with Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint.
Prior to joining CEG, from 2003-2005 Will led strategic planning and digital engagements at major media organizations including Sony Pictures, The Walt Disney Studios, and Village Roadshow / Lambert Television.
From 2000-2003, Will served as Director, Business Development at The Walt Disney Company, leading domestic and international digital partnerships for the studio.
Will received his B.A. from Brandeis University, and lives in Pacific Palisades, CA, with his wife Elisa, sons James and Hudson, and hound dog Indy.
